Xmas at Intaka
This year the traditional annual Christmas party for children from the communities of various Lions clubs was held at Intaka Island, Century City. The new venue is an ideal location with a large green lawn and interesting footpaths around the wetland area in which Intaka Island was built. As usual children, escorted by their local Lions club members, were entertained by various cartoon characters and received presents and a meal before heading back home. The Wellington bunch was transported courtesy of the Wellington SAPS and we wish to thank them for contributing to this wonderful occasion.
