Pedal Power Association
The PPA organises many cycle races every year. A good deal of these events take place in the Boland and, more specifically, Wellington. This has offered the Wellington Lions Club the opportunity to get involved in marshaling during these races, something that would not be possible without the good people at the PPA.
The PPA knows that funds raised by the Lions are used in the local community to the betterment of the people of Wellington, and by using local organisations like the Lions in the management of these races, they are indirectly investing in the Wellington community.
