Woensdag die 24ste September het die Lions die inwoners van Silwerkruin, Fyngoud en Huis Lizelle heerlik bederf met die jaarlikse Bingo verjaarsdag.  Heerlike vrugteslaai en roomys is aan almal voorsien.  Die 5 jarige Shiloh Cloete, van Dwergiebos, het almal vermaak met ‘n paar sang items en daarna het verskeie van die inwoners staaltjies vertel uit hul jonger dae.  Almal het lekker gesellig gekuier en sien uit na volgende jaar se Bingo...

The Wellington Lions Club has been doing its part to clean up our town by running a long term project that sees Correctional Services supplying labour on weekends to walk the streets and clean up garbage. These workers are supervised and fed by members of the Lions Club. Every Saturday around 15 people work from early morning filling dozens of garbage bags.
