In support of the “Lions World Wide Service for Hunger and Poverty Project”, the Wellington Lions donated funds to Moms for Wellington, a local charity providing meals to over 200 children during their Thursday meetings. Here are a few photos from our recent chicken braai. This is one of our annual fund raising projects and this year we prepared around 200 meals for our loyal supporters. The Wellington Lions provided safety marshals for this year’s PPA One Tonner. 20 Lions and 40 Lukhanyo marshals spent many hours in the blazing sun helping cyclists through intersections and keeping them safe.
