Tour de PPA 2013
The Wellington Lions put in some time during the past weekend to act as marshals and to man (and women) water points along the 110 km and 72 km routes. A fresh wind made things interesting but no less fun for those worked or cycled. At our watering point everyone who stopped for a drink was upbeat and having a ball. That it was hard work was clear after the first 30km of cycling with a strong wind blowing across the starboard bow.
